This is one of several photos I took in June 2020 around West Croydon. It was a time when the whole country was under high alert, we were still clapping in support of the NHS and the first time I ventured out further than my own borough Lewisham. 

Even though it was early morning, the thriving, bustling, high street was now reduced to a rainy ghost town where lone individuals were seen passing through streets and waiting in queues outside food shops and banks, or begging for spare change.
