From Black and White to Colour

Experiments in restoring, retouching and colourising

Portrait of my father in uniform

Having used my previously restored photo of my father in army uniform, this was my first attempt at colourising a black and white image (courtesy of Nemanja Sekulic - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fzb-qLL2wo). I have to say, I am very pleased with the results.

I also liked researching British WW2 uniforms and insignias (Mediterranean and Egypt) to produce as authentic a colour match as possible.
