About me

Some time after completing my BA (hons) Degree in Film / TV / Video in 1992 I had become a Director and Assistant Director in theatre and then worked as a Freelance Filmmaker (although prior to this I had been initially trained in technical operations at the BBC and employed briefly as a Production and Development Researcher for the Chrysalis Group). I have worked – and at times still do work – with a variety of clients, charities and other organisations to either support the development of a promotional video or act as a Director, Camera Person or Editor for hire.

Alongside filmmaking, I also write and teach part-time. For over ten years I have worked at Further Education and Community and Adult Education Colleges such as Adult Education College Bexley (AECB), Greenwich Community College (GCC), Kensington and Chelsea College (KCC) and London Borough of Hounslow Adult Education Centre. Some of the subjects I teach are Video Production, Drama and Creative Writing.

Since 2013 I had become - in a voluntary capacity - a Company Director and Media, Design and Communications Manager for Whitefoot and Downham Community Food + Project (wdcfplus). It is a non-profit organisation that supports individuals and families who are presently experiencing hardship and poverty in the area. Currently I am a Company Director of a fledgling production company Yellow Road Media.
