September Flowers at Hidcote Gardens

We stumbled upon this place whilst on holiday in the Cotswolds. It was as it had been described - a garden with many 'rooms'.  Each garden had its own character and atmosphere, and allowed for surprises and discoveries for both newcomer and native alike.

We were impressed with the variety, beauty and ipseity of plant life. Some of these flowers, to be quite honest, were completely new to me. If you know a thing or two about floriculture please feel free to say what they are.

In memory of my mother who in her late years liked tending to her garden more than anything else.
