September Flowers at Hidcote Gardens

We stumbled upon this place whilst on holiday in the Cotswolds. It is as it's described - a most influential 20th century garden - a garden with many 'rooms'. Each garden room has its own character and atmosphere, and does indeed allow for new surprises and discoveries for both newcomer and native.

We were impressed with the variety, beauty and ipseity of plant life. Some of these flowers, to be quite honest, I've never seen anything like them. If you know a thing or two about floriculture please feel free to say what they are.

In memory of my mother who in her late years liked tending to her garden more than anything else.
